Excellent food. Highly recommend the turmeric chicken. Tender, juicy and so flavourful. The accompanying sauce was so addictive I drank up whatever I didn’t pour onto the chicken. Mee Siam was good too. Also drank up the sauce. Plates were CLEAN. While the food was 5 stars, service was 6 stars and for that, I will definitely come back. Bonus: very affordable for the quality. For two dishes I paid $21.70.

Pebbles Kitchen is an absolute gem! From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed by Melvyn and Sharon, who made us feel right at home with their warmth and genuine hospitality. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. Their signature Mee Siam is simply outstanding! Flavorful, rich, and perfectly balanced, it’s easily the best I have tasted! And don’t miss out on the coffee and desserts, there are plenty of varieties to choose from. Pebbles Kitchen is a must-visit. I am definitely recommending it to my family and friends for that reliable, satisfying meal!

Homely food in homely place. Nice respite from the busy East Coast Road. Lovely for sitting down and after the meal - to watch the world go by. Loved the Lontong - rich gravy and tasty serunding. Real Lontong rice cakes. The iced lemon tea is made in-house and so, sugar free and healthy.

Super friendly team, fab food. Nice seating by the window. Hard to find good local food with good western coffee around here, perfect for someone who wants good coffee but not the same old cafe food. (They offer cafe-type food here too) Mee siam was really comforting, reasonably priced and reminded me of my granny’s cooking. Hope they continue to stay here for a good long time!

It’s not easy to find a good Mee Siam these days. the Nonya version with coconut milk gravy. My favourite one, in AMK Ave 1 hawker centre, has closed. Going this one in a family-run cafe in the East. The Mee Siam gravy was just nice, making the dish good tasting. This cafe changed hands some months back and it’s now run by a couple, with family members helping in service. When we ordered the mee siam, it took a long time to arrive. When we checked with the owner, we were told they were heating up the gravy. This could have been told to us when we ordered as we were tight on time. Thus, service level needs to be improved Apart from mee siam, they also served western food like sandwiches and pasta. Good place to come if you want the best of both worlds.

Absolutely wonderful place in every way! The owner and staff are welcoming, the space is filled with light and also offers outdoor seating, and the menu has a thoughtful range of Western and Asian heritage dishes as well as a variety of pastries. I had the Lontong soup which was a delicious spicy curry broth with rice cakes, tender steamed veggies, and hard boiled eggs that melted into the soup. It was what dreams are made of! I had trouble deciding between that and the signature Mee Siem soup. Sharon described the difference in flavor, and then offered to let me taste both broths before deciding (photo here). Honestly, tasting both made me want both!!! They were unique - one sweet and sour with depth of flavor, and the other creamy curry with heat. I decided on the Lontong because of all the vegetables in it. Just as I was very happily finishing my bowl, Sharon brought out a small bowl of the other soup for me to try with the noodles and garnish. I wish I could have finished it all and will definitely be back! The hospitality was so warm and genuine, and that shows in how good the food is. A new favorite spot for sure!

Outstanding food & service in this quaint little cafe within Katong Odeon. It’s pet friendly in the outdoor seatings. The ingredients are so fresh and obviously all made in house, the Mee Siam is so good. We also had sandwich & open faced avocado toast. Just the look at the images you know how generous the chef owners are. I will revisit again.
